I sometimes forget how many albums Future has made. Because I only really like 2 out of 25 of them. His style is make as much stuff as possible and hope some of it is good. Just like the vast majority of his albums, this one feels thrown together and not cohesive. It once again just feels the 21 most finished songs he had going at the time. But that’s okay because, it’s what we’ve come to expect. As usual Future is mostly talking about how great everything is and how successful he is. It’s quite old at this point. But he does have a couple of very introspective and self aware songs. I really liked this side of Future, it showed his talent for setting a scene. On almost every other track though, He sounded so generic, it was impossible to focus on what was being said. Which wasn’t much anyway. I really wish he could make a full album of songs as heartfelt as “Pray For A Key” or as atmospheric as “Trapped In The Sun”. But it seems like really really great Future songs only turn once or twice an album.

Favourite Songs: Trapped In The Sun, Up The River, Pray For A Key, 100 Shooters

Score: 4.4/10
