The most significant thing about this album is, of course, it is Logic’s last. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with logic, as I think most people do. But I’ve got major graduation goggles for this album. I swear logic sounds better and more likeable on this album. Maybe the dad persona just suits him more. It definitely can be said that my positive reaction, may be due to pure sympathy. Throughout this album logic raps about the haters and how they drove him to retirement. I felt bad, sure Logic was a bit preachy and a lot corny, but now my Logic bashing has forced him to end his career. Yes, me personally. The songs on here were really quite good, I genuinely believe this is his best album. His lyrics for the most part were creative and more importantly bearable, there were only a few groan inducing lyrics. The beats were pretty cool too, as were most of the hooks. The interludes were really really great. There was kind of a “midnight marauders” esque automated female voice at the start and end of the songs. She would say an anecdote about the making of the album or logic as a person or his career. This gave the album nice structure. Because I’m 90% this is the last Logic album, I became a lil bit sentimental. His corniness was like a familiar friend, his cringe-spirational preaching was like an encouraging cheer. Imma miss Logic.

Favourite Songs: No Pressure, Open Mike/ Aquarius III, Dad Bod, Amen, Obediently Yours
