Teyana Taylor is a model/dancer/singer who has been a part of Kanye’s music label, G.O.O.D. music, for quite a while. However this is my first experience with Teyana. There were a couple of good songs on this album, but there were also some stinkers in my opinion. Most of the songs were just meh. The main to fault to find is how busy and complicated the production was. At times it sounded like a mess. Her vocals were pretty average, but they added to the genericness that was lots of the tracks. There were some pretty interesting features throughout, firstly another good Rick Ross feature this year, so yippee. As well as that there was Quavo singing on “Let’s Build” which was pretty awful. #worstsong. There was also a verse from Teyana’s husband, former NBA player Iman Shumpert and he didn’t do too badly. As I said before there were a couple of really great songs. There were times that her voice was very good. Unfortunately the bad things outweighed the good.
Favourite Songs: Come Back To Me, Try Again, We Got Love
Score: 4.6/10
