This is the debut album by Dominic Fike, it’s gotten some pretty bad reviews. But it’s not even like it’s aggressively terrible. I would say the worst thing about this album was the blandness. I’ve listened to this thing twice and only really remember a few of the songs. Because a lot of them were not catchy at all, and that’s basically what you’d listen for on a Dominic Fike album. It’s not like the song writing or instrumentals are gonna be particularly outstanding. Although this album was not all bad, some of the songs were catchy enough, like “Why”, (but I think I only liked it this much because I’m a sucker for stuttering choruses). The song “Cancel Me” is bad, but an interesting take on fame. “Vampire” is just an all round good song. I’m still trying to figure out if I really like the song “Chicken Tenders” or really don’t like it. What I do know is that the rest of the album was so unremarkable, I’m not going to remark upon it.

Favourite Songs: Why, Vampire

Score: 5/10
